Cabinet Making: Tools & Techniques
With Mel Andree Tues. Oct. 5 8 sessions

Fee: $170.00 + $22.10 HST
Designed for intermediate and advanced woodworkers. Student chooses his/her
own projects and a variety of wood joinery techniques will be demonstrated
using both machines and hand tools. Topics include: safe machine operations
tool maintenance, stock true-up, elements of design, furniture repair, and
project finishing. Materials supplied by student. Class size is limited to
12 students.

Woodworking - Beginners
With Mel Andree Thurs. Oct. 7 8 sessions
Pauline Johnson C.V.S. 7:00 - 10:00 p.m.
Fee: $170.00 + $22.10 HST
This introductory course is for those with little to no wood-working
experience. Learn the safe use of machines and hand tools required to design
and build your own solid wood furniture. Topics covered may include wood
identification, stock layout, wood joinery and finishing techniques. For
your project choose from a hall table, bookshelf, potato bin, night table or
small rocking horse. Materials required the first night of class will be the
responsibility of the student and can be ordered through the instructor.
Class size is limited to 12 students.
